Wonder partners with merchants and advertisers to deliver you digital promotions and rewards.  To enable seamless redemption, Wonder connects the digital offer to your existing credit or debit card.  This enables you to have the reward with you at all times, and ensures it can never be lost, stolen, or forgotten. It also enables you to redeem your offer or reward seamlessly and automatically when you pay with your card as usual at the designated merchant.

What type of cards can be used?

Wonder supports Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards for redemption at this time. We are actively working to bring other payment cards onto our platform.  Please note that you can use other card types to purchase gifts on Wonder.  


It’s easy. Once you have activated the offer or reward by linking it to your favorite credit or debit card, simply make a purchase as usual with your linked card at the designated merchant. Upon detection of a qualifying transaction, Wonder will automatically credit your account for the amount of the reward and you’ll receive an email notification from Wonder confirming your redemption.

Not all merchant locations or transactions with your Linked Card may be eligible for use with Wonder, including PIN-based purchases, payments made through third-party digital wallets or payment apps other than Apple Pay, and other transactions not processed through the payment network’s own system.

Do not use a Personal Identification Number (PIN) when paying for your purchases with your Linked Card if you want the transaction to redeem your offer.

Are there any fees associated with redeeming my gift?

There are no fees from Wonder charged to your credit card for redeeming your gift. Wonder is not responsible for any fees or interest imposed by your bank if you are carrying balance on your card.

how long does it take to get a statement credit?

Wonder will notify you by email and push notification (if you opted-in) about your redemption within seconds of your transaction at the merchant.  We immediately send the instructions to apply a credit to your account. The statement credit will appear in your account typically within 3 business days.

when do wonder gifts get applied to my card?

Wonder Gifts are virtually linked to your card, and the gift value will not be applied to your account until you make a qualifying purchase at the designated merchant. You must have adequate credit in your account to complete the purchase at the merchant.


If you are unable to redeem a valid, paid gift, we’ll ensure you can use your credit at another merchant.  Contact customer support at support@gowonder.com and explain your situation.  We're happy to help!

Wonder Gifts do not expire.


You can start shopping as soon as you activate your gift by linking your credit or debit card to the gift. You will get a confirmation email and text (if you opt in).


If you have a joint card that you share with someone, please fill out our contact form.


If the gift recipient doesn’t accept the gift in 30 days we will refund the gift amount to the credit card you used to make the purchase.


All sales are final except for the following requests:
1. Wonder Gift card has not been accepted by the recipient
2. Unsatisfied purchaser/recipient due to insolvent merchant



No, Wonder does not store your credit card information.  We integrate directly with the payment networks (Visa, MasterCard, etc.), and when you activate an offer or reward through Wonder your card number is encrypted with bank-grade security and passed directly to the card network.



When you opt-in to activate an offer for a merchant or advertiser, we provide the merchant or advertiser with your email address, activation date, redemption date, and total spend when you redeem the offer. We do not share this information with any other merchants or third parties.



No, Wonder can only see transactions at the specific merchant for which you have activated an offer or reward. Unless the merchant is running a loyalty program, we only receive transaction data until you make a qualifying purchase that redeems your offer. Once the offer is redeemed, we no longer receive transaction data.  We only share your transaction data with the merchant sponsoring the offer, we will never share your data with third-parties.

Card Eligibility/Linking Error

If you received a linking error, it could be because the card you trying to use is not eligible. Not all payment cards are eligible for the Service: for example, corporate and purchasing cards, Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards, government-administered prepaid cards (including EBT cards), insurance prepaid cards, Visa Buxx and other cards whose transactions are not processed through the payment network’s own system are not eligible.
